Casualties: The entire ship's complement of 37 sailors, whose bodies were never recovered, with the exception of one, which was found on the shores of Anticosti Island. Sailor Guy Laflamme, killed during the torpedo attack, receives his medals posthumously. Many years later, his brother Léandre authorizes the loan of the medals to the Naval Museum of Quebec.

Casualties: The entire crew of 37 sailors, whose bodies were never recovered. In the 1960's the Royal Canadian Navy builds a second Bras d'or, an experimental hydrofoil vessel that is on exhibit at the Naval Museum of Quebec.
